Illustration for License

Poster for Anthropologie

A typical night out at the bar.

These illustrations are meant to show the passing of time.

Ocean's 11

So these were illustrations for the original Ocean's 11. It was a three part assignment. We were required to design the front of a casino, a lounge poster, and a shady motel. I wanted to paint them so I gave gouache a try. This was the first time I really used gouache.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

For this assignment we had to design something that would be on Dewey's memorabilia wall. I chose to design a Rolling Stone cover. I ended up doing two. The brown was inspired by a Milton Glaser cover of Bob Dylan, and the second was inspired by a Phil Hays cover of Bette Midler. The Brown one is the more successful cover, but I did enjoy doing the other. I printed the finals on newsprint to give it that classic Rolling Stone feel.

A Year In Ideas

Here's a NY Times Magazine Cover I did for a class called Off the Wall. It had to be 3D, so I decided to make a disco ball out of post-its. I drew images on the post-its that related to the ideas in the articles, but eventually added playful imagery that I enjoy and makes me laugh. I had soooooo much fun doing it!
